Soie d’alger ‘au ver soie de Paris’ is a6 strand filament silk that is smooth, soft, and lustrous. Comes in a5m skein.

It is made of the best qualities of raw silk which give it an unrivalled brightness and softness. This thread does not snarl in the needle and has a good tensile strength. Dyed in skeins to guarantee an homogeneous colour and it resists also very well to abrasion. It is considered as a reference thread in all needlework activities.
