About the Artist

Megan Wells, the artist behind Makewells, is an artist and designer based in Boca Raton, Florida. She’s been a full time artist, instructor and author for 10 years. After studying art in college, Megan worked as a display coordinator with Anthropologie, and then as a high school art instructor for 6 years, before founding her own studio, Makewells, Inc.

Megan’s has worked with clients such as Pottery Barn Teen/Kids, Minted, Harper Collins, Target, Workman Publishing, and more. Besides her signature florals, Megan is known for her whimsical hand-lettering and colorful animal illustrations. When she’s not creating art, you can find her at the beach snorkeling with her husband, Brent, and 5 year old daughter, Livi.
