Linen has a beautiful drape and open weave that is perfect for cross stitch and embroidery. Thispretty purple linen is the equivalent of DMC embroidery floss color #28.The linen is stiff to start, but will soften up as you work with it.

The fabric is28 count.Linen is commonly stitched over 2 threads, which would give you14 stitches per inch, the equivalent of 14-count Aida. You can also stitch over 1 thread for28 stitches per inch.
