This bag design was inspired by the Japanese rice bags that were stitched together with scraps of fabric and a drawstring closer. The pattern has 6 pages of easy to follow directions with diagrams and tips to make your own stitching bag. The pattern includes applique shapes and stitching suggestions to make 4 different sides of your bag. Use the colors I suggest or make it your own. Once you make one you will want to make more in different colors.
