The Kadie is a study in repetition as movement. It began as an attempt to create a soft, scalloped rhythmsomething that felt hand-drawn, not manufactured. The large-scale repeated strokes move in arcs, giving it both a quiet strength and a restful cadence. This pattern holds the tension I love most in design: structured yet soft, imperfect yet intentional. I wanted a design that was modern in its abstraction, but groundedreminiscent of marks made by hand on pottery. This design features a soft ivory ground with stone grey strokes. By choosing these colors, I wanted to create a calm, elevated neutral.
