This simple and straightforward block quilt is perfect for detailing subtle color shifts in your fabrics as well as contrasts in value. It is a slightly more expanded version of the classic Double Cross quilt block, but has also been named Arbor Window in other sources that I found. The only feature to this quilt which makes it slightly more advanced than beginner is sewing the on point squares in assembly and fussy cutting a few of the elements. However it is a wonderful opportunity to sharpen your piecing skills and enjoy the process. The repeating pattern of the single block forms a subtle plaid feel across the quilt. This is an easy quilt to scale larger or smaller as desired. Simply make more or less blocks, or add favorite borders
