This fabric is woven on traditional shuttle looms at a slow and steady pace, allowing the yarns to relax naturally without excessive tension. The result is a soft, airy texture with a gentle handfeel especially well-suited to natural fibers.

You may notice slight irregularities or variations in the weave. These subtle imperfections add a sense of character and warmth that is unique to this kind of slow, intentional weaving. Its a texture that can’t be replicated by modern high-speed looms.

Because shuttle looms are now rare and maintained by only a handful of skilled artisans, fabrics made this way are increasingly hard to find. They carry with them a sense of craftsmanship and care that makes them truly special.
